I can’t remember the first time I encountered Sarah Selecky, but I do know this: I’ve been following the Canadian fiction writer for years. I was an early student of her amazing ecourse, Story is a State of Mind, and when she agreed to contribute to an anthology called EAT IT that I co-edited that was published few years back, I was thrilled!
I look up to Sarah for many reasons. She’s a talented, incisive writer, a thoughtful teacher, AND a small business owner bent on doing things her own way. Years ago, she was one of the first people to show me there was a new economy of savvy, helpful entrepreneurs bubbling up around the world—led in no small part by women.
It’s amazing how things come back around. This weekend, Sarah featured me on her website as part of her excellent series on “the business of writing,” which is helping her spread the world about B-School (and her amazing affiliate offer). Find out how I define “marketing,” what I learned in B-School, and how creative writing fits into my business life.
